About Me
Full-Stack Web Developer - Currently working full-time for ESUCC
From April 2014 to September 2023, I was a web developer at Zaiss & Company (now known as W2 Marketing). I still do freelance work for them, but work full-time for the ESU Coordinating Counsel (ESUCC) in La Vista, Nebraska.
While working at Zaiss & Company, I spent most of my time working on WordPress sites. I wrote code to customize themes and plugins. I also developed custom PHP web applications. Before that, I developed websites primarily in ASP.NET (mostly C#, but occasionally VB).
Testimonials
"Matt is an exceptional programmer with whom I've had the pleasure of collaborating for well over a decade. During this period, I've presented him with numerous web development and programming challenges, from straightforward WordPress troubleshooting to creating fully customized plugins. Not to mention the development of standalone, custom PHP-based solutions and intricate backends for highly complex online applications and web functionalities. He independently devised functionalities and processes that effectively operate and optimize multi-site systems. Furthermore, he displays initiative by creating his own tools that expedite tasks, significantly enhancing his efficiency and leading to cost savings for the company in terms of time. An authority in SEO and web usability, Matt makes substantial contributions to all development projects in which he is engaged. He consistently embraces challenges, and I have yet to witness him fall short of a project's programming objectives - often achieving results much more rapidly than anticipated. I wholeheartedly endorse Matt and his exceptionally high level of expertise."
"Matt has always been a very reliable coworker. He always seems to have an answer to the problem I am trying to solve and is able to provide solutions in record time. His understanding of web development never ceases to amaze me. Matt is an asset to any team in need of a bright, fast, and good teammate."
"We were so glad to discover Matt Marron years ago. We are full-service marketing firm (vs. just advertising). As you’ll see from Matt’s portfolio of work, we go deep with our clients and conceive of customer-facing and back-end programs that move our clients’ businesses forward. As Matt will attest, it’s one thing for a business strategist to outline a program and what it’s intended to do. It’s a whole other thing to make it happen. That’s Matt’s gift. He is brilliant at the back end and is the one who brought ground-breaking, user-friendly, business-building programs and services to life. I recommend Matt for your team. He’s a real gem."
